Ignorance, greed, and anger

Are completely absent in the World-honored One;

You are a lion, the most courageous of all humans,

Having immeasurable majestic virtues.

Great Peace for the Fearful (October 30)

This season of Halloween when spooky abound in our neighborhoods, businesses, and schools is a wonderful time to take comfort the power of the Buddha’s teachings to bring us freedom from fear. For the Sunday, October 30 Dharma Talk Rev. Adams will take inspiration from the Buddha’s Vow in the Sanbutsuge “Verses in Praise of the Buddha” that “to all beings who live in fear I will give great peace.”
